There are many ways in which you can help

ADOPT A ROTT  Do you have experience of Rotts, but have not had one for sometime due to family commitments or have you lost a dog in the past, but now think its time for another.  Have you been thinking of getting a Rott, but have no experience of this breed? Please contact us to discuss whether we have anything suitable. Please ring  us on  01782 395558 or 01732 841082 or email as at rottwelfare25@tiscali.co.uk

FOSTER A WELFARE ROTT   Perhaps you are unable to adopt but have the time and space to foster a dog short term, if so please contact us on 01782 395558 or email us rottwelfare25@tiscali.co.uk

MEMBERSHIP and GIFT AID   Become a member of Welfare. The annual fee is £10 and this includes a Yearbook and Newsletter, AGM papers and the right to vote and any other important documents.  When completing a membership form, or sending us any  voluntary donation, or any sponsorship please complete a Gift Aid form and return this as well.

SHARE AND CARE SCHEME (Supporting long term residents)
Share the Responsibility! Care for a Rottweiler. Donate a fixed amount each month or quarter.  The Scheme accepts any dog that comes into us from the start that is over 8 years, or has a long term but not fatal illness, i.e. pancreas problems.  Dogs  if they are still with us after 3 months, provided we have enough sponsor on the scheme will be transferred  from our main fund or our Sponsorship Scheme.  We do not stop looking for the right home for these dogs, but it just sometimes takes a bit longer. Scheme supporters will get a report on their 'chosen' dog and updates on the Scheme will appear in the Yearbook. The dogs on the scheme are currently, Holly,  Mostyn, Chance,  Suki, Beulah, Buster, Chloe, Kia, Guto, Joe and Tara

SPONSOR A ROTTWEILER  The Sponsorship Scheme allows people to sponsor an individual dog for veterinary care, kennelling costs or just a special treat. Everyone who contributes to the scheme will receive a photograph and details and updates of their sponsored dog.

RWA PUPPY DONATION SCHEME

We run a scheme whereby breeders voluntary donate the sum of £10 to RWA for every puppy they breed that is sold and/or contribute a voluntary amount after a dog is used at stud. We would very much welcome your inclusion in this scheme and if you feel you are able to help please contact Olive Davison, RWA Puppy Donation Scheme Co-ordinator on 07913 540321 or e-mail  Davisonfiremoon@btinternet.com for further detail. Please DO NOT donate online for this scheme. We are grateful to those that contribute and all donation will be used to help and maintain Rottweilers which are in the unfortunate situation of being in our care. Any donations made will be acknowledged in the breed notes on a periodic basis.

MOBILE PHONES
We can now recycle your old mobile phones to raise money for Rottweiler Welfare.  We need working mobiles with the batteries and ideally the charger as well.  So if you have any hidden away get them out and send them to us.  Please contact Jenni on 07719 606454 to obtain an envelope and address of where to send or email us at rottweiler25@tiscali.co.uk

OLD JEWELLERY  We can now recycle old jewellery to raise money for Welfare.
We need any type of jewellery whether good quality or costume jewellery.  It can even be broken.  So have a clear out and send them to us.  Please contact Jenni on 07719 606454 to obtain an envelope and address of where to send or email us at rottweiler25@tiscali.co.uk

VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME OR FUND RAISE FOR US Help us at one of our events, become a home checker or vet a dog for suitability for rehoming (must be experienced with the breed and a member of Welfare).  Offer to transport a dog for us.   Organise a car boot or table top sale, a coffee morning,  a companion dog show, a sponsored slim, run a marathon in aid of RWA, a long distance walk, sponsored dog walk, parachute jump, bungee jump or anything you can think of.   Do you have a PAT Dog if you do then organise an event whereby people can stroke your dog for a voluntary donation - a great way to promote the breed, especially if your Rott is the PAT dog.  How about having a 'Rottweilers in need day'. A bit like Children In Need - it could be done in  the summer or it could be held on a  Bank Holiday.  Again you can organise the event yourself - it doesn't need to be a huge affair, when run the first time we had a few people who collected pennies in a jar throughout the year and they simply handed it over on the day.   Click the clock to go to our Contacts page for the right person. to help.

LEAVE A LEGACY TO RWA IN YOUR WILL Please help us make a difference in rescuing abandoned and neglected Rottweilers and help those who are unwanted; also to provide all necessary care, treatment and rehabilitation and to assess these dogs for adoptability and find suitable homes for them by including us in your Will. For full details on how to do this click the picture.

WANTED  Used postage stamps (leave one inch of envelope all around the stamp)  these can be sent to either Nina Troughton, 7 Paradise Park, Whitstone, Holsworthy, Devon, EX22 6TQ or  Tina Randles, 139 Calais Road, Burton-On-Trent, Derbyshire, DE13 0UN.  We also required good bric-a brac, raffle and tombola prize, crafts and hand made goods.  Always needed are bedding (plastic beds,), leads, collars, toys, chews, and dried food for our rescued dogs.  Contact us at rottweiler25@tiscali.co.uk and we will let you have details on where to send it.
