Success stories 1

Meet Max, we rescued him from you about a year ago and he now fits into our family perfectly.  I want to thank you all at RWA for giving us the call to pick him up as he is just perfect for us.  He is now 18months old and I could not imaging life without him and him greeting me at the door.  - from Sammi

Meet Flora, Ralph and Eve.  All are rescued, the two Rotties Flora and Ralph from RWA.  Eve a collie cross is now 11 yrs old and very much in charge.  Flora with green collar and tail is one of the puppies born in our care whose Mum was rescued by RWA.  Ralph is 15 months old and was left abandoned with three brothers at a police station at 3-6 days old.  He was hand reared by RWA.  We consider ourselves blessed with three lovely companions.   Pat and David

Meet Buster He was living with an older female dog and became much too loving towards her, so the decision was taken to ask Welfare to put him up for adoption. Buster was 12 months old when he came into Welfare and was a bit of a lad.  He is now in his new home, where he is enjoys being the centre of attention.  The smiles from both of Buster's new owners when they first met him, made us all at Welfare very happy.

A new picture of Buster.  As you can see he is now a big boy and his nearly 22 months old and doing really well. He has settled in really well and loves his walks on the beach. Thanks for giving this Rottie a new home.

Meet Ozzy  He was 2 years old when he came to RWA and was rehomed because he grew too big for his owners and they could no longer cope with him so they decided that he should be rehomed. So to cut a long story short, after a short while looking and doing our home checks that right home came along.  One very lucky family met Ozzy and wow it was a match made in heaven. The family and Ozzy instantly fell for each other and they are now inseparable. Many thanks for giving this Rottie a a new home.

Meet Bella The picture was taken a few hours after we got back from picking up Bella. As you can see she and I are having a few issues, but we finding a mutually beneficial way to resolve them. Seems to involve me becoming a pillow for some reason!!! I just wanted to say thank you so much for looking after Bella and letting me have her in my life. She is everything I could ever hope for from a Rottie and lot more besides. I am slowly figuring out how to get the best out of her and she is very patient. Everybody that meets her is amazed at just how sweet and well behaved she is. She is a wonderful ambassador for the breed and she does nothing but make me proud. Thank you for all the things that you explained to me as it as really sorted out a lot of things.  Derrick & Bella xx

This is Freddy and he has settled in very well and made himself at home. He was house trained within days as I think he just copied our other rottie. He loves to chew anything he can, and will run all around the garden/house to keep whatever it is he has picked up this time!.All the people he has met love him, and he plays (or tries to) with any dog he meets, big or small. We let him off the lead in fields and on the common, but he has no road sense at all and thinks cars and bikes are just other dogs/toys for him to play with. He's also great with kid's of all ages, they only run away when they realise he is going to slobber all over them. Freddy has put on weight which the vet says is fine, but not to let him get any bigger, and he looks so much healthier. He is, as you can imagine, also a lot stronger than he was. Beverley & Darren
