Rest in Peace
Your gentle nature knew no limits. Loved by so many and admired by others. I  wish I could have had you for longer, but life is unfair. My first memory of you was when you singled me out at 9 weeks old and came trotting over and  laid down in my lap and fell asleep. How could I have refused you a home with a greeting like that. Some people did not approve of you being off lead while we were out walking, but you were exceptionally well behaved and would not leave my side. Children would always come running up to you for a cuddle and you always treated them with respect and compassion. .  You were very special and will be forever in my heart. Always my faithful friend, protector and companion - Steve

My Soul Mate
You loved everyone and everyone loved you. You were a wonderful PAT dog and changed many people's perceptions of Rottweilers. When you were going blind you coped amazingly well, so much so, that it was awhile before I realised it, as you just got on with life. You taught Loki the ways of the world when he arrived and although you were going blind and the legs did not work very well, you were very tolerant and only told him off when he really needed it. You were a very special kind of Rottie who taught me so much, even though you had many health problems, you never really complained. You were never happier than when getting and giving a fuss to people, and although you got on well with dogs it was always people that you loved.  Many people will miss you, not just me, and all who knew you will never forget you.  You were and will always be my soul mate.  - Linda

In Loving Memory

You had some enormous rottie paws to fill when you came to us, as we had just lost our beloved Jenna. You were so flat and depressed, no bounce or sparkle, you were in mourning due to the separation from your previous owners. You attached yourself to me as if you were stuck to my side - you were so sweet and vulnerable, I fell totally in love with you.  Gradually your personality began to shine and everyone was absolutely charmed by your gentle placid nature. You had great courage with on-going health problems, struggling to get back on your feet after cruciate operations and enduring the pain of arthritis without a grumble. The whole family cried for weeks when you died suddenly, including  'Grandad' Eddie who cared for you every day whilst we were at work. Your best-buddy Alan refused to get off his chair for two days, he was so bereft - I pray that he found you at Rainbow Bridge when he passed over on March 6th 2005.  The pain of losing you so unexpectedly ripped open my heart, and I  cannot come to terms with your death, but my comfort is knowing that we will all be together again one day. You were everything that a Rottweiler should be and I feel so grateful that we spent such wonderful times together. You made me very, very proud. Sleep tight. - Ruth, Michael and all the family

14th Oct 1998 - 14th June 2005
From the day we saw you our hearts were yours, you made our lives complete. Having you as a bridesmaid was brilliant and as usual you had your own ideas about having your photograph taken.  We knew from an early stage that you were special, we just didn't realise how special, when you went to heaven you took part of us too. Your illness was long, but your suffering short, we miss you everyday but know you are with friends. God Bless you princess xx  Love Mummy & Daddy

In loving memory

No longer are you walking along the rugged coast,
No longer are you with me to watch the sailing boats.
Nor will you be roaming in our woods at home,
No longer will I see you digging up your bones.
No longer will I hold you and take you in my arms,
To touch you and to love you, to shelter you from harm.
Now our drive looks empty with no one sitting there,
You used to watch for hours, with not the slightest care.
You always walked beside me, when walking to the Gate,
And never missed to greet me, when I have been away.
When people came to visit, you never failed to please,
You snuggled up beside them and let them drink their tea.
You were the perfect Rott for me, I couldn't wish for more,
Your manners and good nature were things I loved the most.
And now I like to thank you for all the love you gave,
You left us with your memories to help us through the days.
And should I get too lonely without you by my side,
I'll be for ever grateful, to have had you in my life.
Sleep tight and rest in peace. Your loving family and friends

HETTY
29 July 1997 - 8 September 2005
Born on 29th July 1997 she was the most dominant of the litter and had total courage. During the early weeks of her life she learnt from the pack leader to bend and yield to what was right and wrong, these virtues she held all of her life with her courage holding strong to the end of her life on the 8th September 2005.
At 15 months she became a P.A.T. dog and at 18 months visited Discover Dogs for the first time, this she continued to attend for the rest of her life. She became a blood donor at 2 years old.  No C.C. for her but she did far more for the breed by visiting Hospitals and Residential homes, meeting the general public in all sorts of places and helping me vet homes for our Welfare dogs. The tears in my heart will never heal and her spirit is still with me.  Miss you my ‘Muttie Pig’.    Annie and Chris

CONAN
May 1993 - Jan 2005
How can I possibly put my feelings into words, 12 amazing years was still not enough, you were always there and I thought you always would be. You were braver and more loyal than any person I ever met. You were never afraid of anything, I always felt safe with you there. People used to laugh at me for being so protective over you, but you meant the world to me, when I was sad you would come and rest your head on my lap, when happy we would laugh and play, when I lost my father if it were not for you I do not know how I would have carried on, you were my strength and my inspiration through life's trials.  We have laughed together, cried together and walked in the rain together, which we both enjoyed, getting as muddy as we possibly could and jumping in every puddle, fishing in Hastings is one of my best memory's, swimming, chasing rabbits, then we would go to the cafe and you would put on those butter wouldn't melt eye's to earn yourself a sneeky sausage. When I lost you I thought I would never heal, life will never be the same without my cosy, part of my heart died with you, you were and will always be my guardian angel, your memory keeps me going, knowing that when my time is up you will be there waiting   for me at rainbow bridge so that we can cross together. Will love you always Mum xxxx
