JAZZ
14th Oct 1998 - 14th June 2005

From the day we saw you our hearts were yours, you made our lives complete. Having you as a bridesmaid was brilliant and as usual you had your own ideas about having your photograph taken.  We knew from an early stage that you were special, we just didn't realise how special, when you went to heaven you took part of us too. Your illness was long, but your suffering short, we miss you everyday but know you are with friends. God Bless you princess xx  Love Mummy & Daddy

BEN
1995-2005
In loving memory

No longer are you walking along the rugged coast,
No longer are you with me to watch the sailing boats.
Nor will you be roaming in our woods at home,
No longer will I see you digging up your bones.
No longer will I hold you and take you in my arms,
To touch you and to love you, to shelter you from harm.
Now our drive looks empty with no one sitting there,
You used to watch for hours, with not the slightest care.
You always walked beside me, when walking to the Gate,
And never missed to greet me, when I have been away.
When people came to visit, you never failed to please,
You snuggled up beside them and let them drink their tea.
You were the perfect Rott for me, I couldn't wish for more,
Your manners and good nature were things I loved the most.
And now I like to thank you for all the love you gave,
You left us with your memories to help us through the days.
And should I get too lonely without you by my side,
I'll be for ever grateful, to have had you in my life.
Sleep tight and rest in peace. Your loving family and friends

HETTY
29 July 1997 - 8 September 2005

Born on 29th July 1997 she was the most dominant of the litter and had total courage. During the early weeks of her life she learnt from the pack leader to bend and yield to what was right and wrong, these virtues she held all of her life with her courage holding strong to the end of her life on the 8th September 2005. At 15 months she became a P.A.T. dog and at 18 months visited Discover Dogs for the first time, this she continued to attend for the rest of her life. She became a blood donor at 2 years old.  No C.C. for her but she did far more for the breed by visiting Hospitals and Residential homes, meeting the general public in all sorts of places and helping me vet homes for our Welfare dogs. The tears in my heart will never heal and her spirit is still with me.  Miss you my ‘Muttie Pig’.    Annie and Chris

CONAN
May 1993 - Jan 2005

How can I possibly put my feelings into words, 12 amazing years was still not enough, you were always there and I thought you always would be. You were braver and more loyal than any person I ever met. You were never afraid of anything, I always felt safe with you there. People used to laugh at me for being so protective over you, but you meant the world to me, when I was sad you would come and rest your head on my lap, when happy we would laugh and play, when I lost my father if it were not for you I do not know how I would have carried on, you were my strength and my inspiration through life's trials.  We have laughed together, cried together and walked in the rain together, which we both enjoyed, getting as muddy as we possibly could and jumping in every puddle, fishing in Hastings is one of my best memory's, swimming, chasing rabbits, then we would go to the cafe and you would put on those butter wouldn't melt eye's to earn yourself a sneeky sausage. When I lost you I thought I would never heal, life will never be the same without my cosy, part of my heart died with you, you were and will always be my guardian angel, your memory keeps me going, knowing that when my time is up you will be there waiting   for me at rainbow bridge so that we can cross together. Will love you always Mum xxxx

LUCY
2001 - 13 Nov 05

Lucy, was a foster we had on behalf of RWA.  She was only with us 24 hours when we noticed all was not right, so to cut a long story short she had to have an operation,  from which complications set in and sadly the decision was made on Sunday 13 Nov  05 to let Lucy rest in peace.  She was about three years old,  and we took her to our hearts as did my vets and all who met her she was a special little girl. You will always be our juice Lucy.   R.I.P sweetheart.  Jon and Mags

TED
1997-2006

We adopted Ted in 2000 and we are so grateful we did. You were such a lovely boy. You hadn't had the best start in life and had been given to a place to be put to sleep but luckily the person there had the goodness to see what a lovely boy you were and gave you to Rottweiler Welfare. You were so friendly and only wanted to be loved and stroked. You never put a paw wrong. You had two big operations, one in 2005 and one in January 2006. Eventually you were diagnosed as having the nerves in your back squashed which caused your back legs to give up. We kept you as long as we could but then realised you should be running around and playing instead of being lifted up so you could be put outside and so we let you go back to Jesus in March of this year. We will always love you Ted. Your Mum and Dad - Marion and Dave

These page are dedicated to all those Rottweiler who have gone to Rainbow Bridge.  All  Rottweilers are welcome to be on this page whether they were rescued or not.
