Karl is a 3 year old neutered male who come into care on 14 Dec 2009 and is looking for an experienced owner.   For more details on Karl please call the rescue centre near Milton Keynes on 01908 504000 (phones manned 1-3pm daily) and the website is www.hularescue.org

Hooch is a castrated long haired male rottie of about 3-4 years old.  He has settled down well in the kennel, but can be full of enthusiasm at times, so probably needs further training.  He loves going for walks and having his belly rubbed. He is kennel clean, so there should be no problem with him being clean in the house.  Like most male rotties he can be aloof of new people, but once he gets to know you, he is a big softie and all the kennel staff love him.  He could probably live with a bitch, but not males. He love his food and seem to have had some basic training at some point.  As he was found as a stray a suitable home woulld be an adult home only with experience of large working breeds.  For more details on Hooch please contact Carr House Rescue Centre in Hull on 01482 701738 and the website is www.carrhouserescuecentre.co.uk

Denzil is approx 2-3 years old and is a lovely fun boy and will make someone a fantastic companion.  He is very sociable and has a loving personality and although he is a tall leggy rottie he is very gentle with it.  He has started training and socialisation classes at the Centre and is doing well and any new owner should continue this.  He needs a new owner who has experience of large breeds and who has the time and patience to build up his confidence and turn him into the wonderful rottie we know he can be.  He gets on well with other dogs as long as they know how to react nicely.  He was abandoned at the Centre so he can only go to an adult only home as we have no previous history of him.  For more details on Denzil please contact Louise Barker, at the  National  Animal Welfare Trust, Cornwall Branch on 01736 756005 .

Eve (or Evie) is approx 2 years old and came into us from the local stray kennels where she had been for several weeks. She is a lovely friendly girl and is very affectionate with people and loves a fuss. She is typically boisterous for her size and age, but is quite puppylike with it, but would suit a home with slightly older children as little ones may get knocked over. She is quite vocal with other dogs, but has spent the best part of two months in kennel environments so this won't be helping and may settle down once she goes into a home. She would like a home where she won't be left alone for too long, and will need a secure garden. Ideally she would like a home with previous experience of large breed dogs, but she's a big girl with an even bigger heart and will make a fantastic pet. Please note we believe dogs are part of the family and as such we only rehome where the dog will live indoors. We will rehome out of area for the right home, but all homes will be homechecked, and all family members must visit the dog at our centre in West Yorkshire first. All dogs are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flead and wormed and come with 4 weeks insurance. For more details please call 07743 773871 or visit www.rspcaleedsandwakefield.org.uk

Lara is an approx 3 year old Rottie, she came to us after being in a council pound for 7 days and the appointment was made to have her euthanised. When we heard of her plight we immediately offered her a space. She was very nervous at first and seemed to prefer men to women but after a few days to settle in she is now fine with everyone she meets. All the volunteers love her and she will make someone a very loyal and loving companion. We can home anywhere in the UK but a homecheck and adoption donation apply. For more info please call 01348 831103 or visit www.greenacresanimalrescue.co.uk

Khan is a 5 year old castrated male who was a a bit thin and covered in fleas when he arrived, but is filling out nicely and those pesky fleas have all gone.   He is a nice all round dog, friendly with people, likes fusses and is good with grooming.  He is good with other dogs whilst out for a walk, but has not lived with another dog, but a bitch may be ok, but would need to be introduced first.  We have not had any problems with him at all and all kennel staff love him.  A suitable home would be with a family who could give him the love he deserves.  He could live with chldren 10+.  For more detail please contact Anna Hallsworth, Derby City Council Dog Warden, on 01332 641991.

The dogs for rehoming on this page are NOT RWA dogs and therefore are not being rehomed through our Association. We cannot accept any responsibility for information given about a specific dog nor whether they are suitable for rehoming

All the rotties on this page are with other rescues around the country.  These rescues have asked us to advertise a dog for them in order to find it a home and this we are willing to do.  If you are interested in any of these dogs please use the contact details attached to each of the dog.  Please mention when contacting any of the other rescues that you saw the dog on the Rottweiler Welfare Association site.

To be able to continue our work, the RWA needs support. Any voluntary donation would be greatly appreciated if you adopt a dog seen on this site or we advertise a dog for you and its subsequently rehomed because of this.  All donations help with kennelling costs and the care of the our dogs.
