Welcome to our Rehoming page
Tess
is
approximately 3 years old and is very friendly. She likes her treats and
takes them gently, she is good on the lead and gets excited when being
groomed. She loves to run in the field and has lots of energy.
Theo
is a 5 years old castrated male. He is good with other dogs, and is
friendly and lovely, but like some male rotties can be choosy with some
people, but once he gets to know you he is fine. We feel he would best be
suited to a quiet experienced rottie adult home without children. He is now
learning to play and loves his food and chewies so training and
socialisation should not be a problem.
Zeus
is a 4 year old male that was rehomed by us, but unfortunately has now come
back. He is a typical rottie male, who needs an experienced rottie home in
order to give him set boundaries so he knows who is in charge otherwise he
could take over. Toys are his favourite thing in life and he will play
with them for ages and this would make a good training aid. He also
like his food very much. Zeus would live happily with another bitch
for company and would suit an experienced rottie adult home only, although
older teenage children maybe a possibility.
Petal
is a big, nice looking 16 month old girl. Family
circumstances meant Petal had to come into rescue. She did live with
another male dog, but she does need to be in charge. She has a wonderful
exuberant nature and will make a lovely addition to a family.
She does though need to continue her
training and socialisation to make her into such a well behaved dog we know
she can be.
Desmond
is a 15 month old male and is
now a lovely young dog. He will need further training and socialisation in
order to make him a super boy, but he recently went to the vets and was
called a "star" which has delighted us. An experienced stable dog home with
older children would be ideal, as he has already before coming to us been in
several unsuitable homes.
Riley
- Riley
has been with us for a few months now. He came to us from a
dog pound and was in extremely poor condition when he arrived.
He is approximately 2-3 years old, docked and is turning into a very
happy boy. Now that he has built up his strength he will be
neutered. Since we have no history on Riley at all, we think
that he would best be homed in a home with no children. He
loves his food and walks well on a lead. He adores to be out
and about and would quite happily live outside, Gold Standard of
course, as long as he got plenty of love and attention. Riley
deserves a new home now where he can forgot about his bad past and
enjoy some good times.
Joe
is a 6 year old male who has not been castrated, but is ok with all
dogs. He has a good temperament but is a true male Rottie who
is wary of strangers, but once he gets to know them is ok. He
sit and downs, but needs more training and socialisation. He
needs an experienced home only with no children or cats, although he
could live with a bitch. He will need a firm but fair hand as
he is an independent dog who likes a quiet life.
Max
is big bold Rottie boy who came into rescue because his lady owners
could no longer look after him. He is a reserved boy and takes a
little getting to know. He does not enjoy being in kennels and would
benefit from being in an experienced home with older, teenage
children and no other pets.
Roxie
is a 2½ year old, spayed bitch. She is
currently being fostered and was only giving up due to the lost of the
owner's home. She is house trained, micro-chipped, and vaccinated till
July 2010. She is a lovely friendly girl with a nice curly tail. She gets
on well with other dogs and is currently living with several. She does have
hip dysplasia but the condition is currently being managed very well by the
foster carer and her muscle are well developed. A suitable home would be
someone who already has another older dog as Roxie cannot live on her own.
Going up and down stairs would not be good for Roxie, so she would need to
stay downstairs in any new home or the home would have no stairs at all.
She cannot live with cats or other small animals.
Maya
is a
12 month old tall, rangy bitch. She came to us because of
housing difficulties. She needs to be told that she is not in
charge but she has no aggression and loves nothing more than leaping
around the field and playing with the ball. She does need
training but is full of fun. She would probably be good
at some form of agility or other activity. She does have a few
doggie friends, but can be a bit choosy so a home with teenage
children, no other pets and someone who will give her the training
and socialisation she needs would be ideal.
Dyson
is
very handsome lad and quite a big boy. He likes a fuss, but is still
learning the ways of the world. He is currently entire, but again
could be castrated if necessary or later
(we offer help towards this should he be rehomed first).
He needs to have a firm hand to tell him right from wrong and needs training
and socialisation.
Ebony
is called 'Mrs Serious' by us but is a
nice large bitch. She is good with other dogs and also likes her
food very much, so any new owner may need to make sure this does not become
an obsession. We feel she would be better in an experienced
rottie home and any new owner would need to keep up her training and
teaching her manners. She could live with another male with no
problem.
Tia
is an adorable friendly young girl who is looking for a new home. She is
probably a Collie X Rottie and is around 6 months old. She is full of fun
and loves a fuss. She seems to get on fine with other dogs. She has a
partial hearing loss – we are beginning to train her to respond to a remote
controlled vibrating collar. Tia has come in as a result of a relationship
breakdown and we were asked to help. We have all fallen in love with her, as
she is such a poppet. She would love a new home with people who could
continue her training and could live with another dog and older children.
Bruno
is about 11 months and needs a home where he could be
taken training regularly. We would highly recommend this as he is very food
orientated which would make training very easy with him. He is entire
but could be castrated soon (we offer help towards this should he be rehomed
first). He has came from a family that doted on him, but they had to move
and couldn’t take him with them. He is friendly with people and wants to
play. He does get excited around other dogs and needs to learn
boundaries and how to approach them nicely. We think he would make a great
family pet, but would be more suited to a family with older children as so
lively, but he is a very happy dog.
Lucy
was rescued from being PTS on Christmas Eve by a kind hearted vet who could
not leave her in the pound where she had ended up. She is a pretty
girl, with a tail, approximately 2 years old, very sweet natured and
unassuming. She walks well on a lead and has obviously had some
training in the past. She appears to be ok with other dogs. Lucy
would love to be back in a family environment where she could develop her
personality and forget all about the past. She could live with older
sensible children and would make a wonderful family girl. Please
consider Lucy.
Elsa
is
about 15 months old. She came from the dog pound in an horrendous
state and because she is so active it has been hard to put weight on her,
but we are slowly winning. She loves to play with toys and other dogs.
She is a typical bouncy little bitch. She's very friendly and likes to
be around you. Elsa would like a family who has the time to develop
her social skills and training. She has all the makings of a lovely dog with
no real problems. As we have no history on her she could not live with
young children, but older teenage children should be ok. If Elsa's
picture looks a bit blurred this is because she is always active and we had
trouble trying to get her to stay still long enough to take a picture.

Iori or Treasure as we are
calling him is a 2 year old male who was left in a back yard with
absolutely no shelter whatsoever. When rescued he was up to his knees
in water! He is friendly, loving, eager to please and good with other dogs.
Iori has a good nature and wants to do right. Even though he was totally
deprived of human love and contact, he has proven to be an absolute
treasure. Would suit an active family with time to devote to this lovely dog
and he would make a wonderful addition to the family.
Skye
is a 3 year old bitch, who despite her bad start is a
sweet natured bitch. She was shut in a coal shed and not let out so
when she arrived her coat was in a horrendous state, but it is now much
better. Due to her isolation and lack of socialisation she has had no
training and not been taught any manners. She is now beginning to
learn and any owner would need to continue this. She has made doggie
friends at the kennels, but can be vocal with some dogs, but is learning.
She would suit an experienced rottie owner with patience to continue her
training and socialisation.
Jack
is a 6 month old male, who came in as a stray. He is just so cute. He is
very petite (only 20 inches tall to the shoulder) so he will not be a big
boy. He loves to play and to be fussed although he is a bit of a wriggly
worm. As he is so young he should be able to adapt to almost any home. He
will be bouncy and need training and socialisation like any 6 month old.
Kai
- is a very large boy who already weighs 45 kgs and is still growing.
At present, he is still entire. He is a good natured boy and walks
well on the lead and is happy to see other dogs, although, I think he would
be far friendlier to bitches than dogs. He is a typical young male
rottie who would benefit from further training and socialisation. He
would need to go to an experienced rottie home where there were older
teenage children and he could possibly be homed with the right type of
bitch.
Kia
- a pretty girl, much smaller than her big "bruiser" of a brother. She
seems older than her 18 months, possibly because of Kai who does tend to
overshadow her. She is a happy little girl, quite gentle and easygoing.
She walks well on the lead and does not seem to have any issues. She
needs an experienced home possibly with older children, where she would be
able to develop her personality.
Although
Kai and
Kia are brother and sister we feel, if necessary, they could
be homed separately. Although, of course, if an experienced home came
up for a pair then they would happily go together.
Diesel
is a very active, loving, friendly and intelligent three year old Rottweiler
dog. He is very well trained, good with children, people and other dogs. It
will be hard to find a more laid back character and he loves to play ball
and will do anything to please. He needs a home where he will get plenty of
exercise and play, not necessarily long walks, to keep him stimulated. He
loves to be with his family but can be left unattended without any damage to
the home
